Alas!!
I am not lost! Just on vacation. Been really sick lately. Chest cold. Wheezing and coughing. Feel like crap on a cracker. Anyway, I started a new thing on sparkpeople.com. I sign up, set my goals... exercise and food. Plus... I get much support. In fact, I hadnt even logged in for more than 20 minutes and 2 people got ahold of me. I think I am going to like this place... now if a certain sexy Dutch cheetah will tell me his name on there, I can add him as a friend. ;)

Not Lost
No, I havent dropped off the diet. I just seem to be in limbo at the moment. Taking the week off because of family issues... my niece is sick and I am staying home to take care of her.

Thank you, Rob for turning me onto this new diet. It will be hard work, but I think I can handle it. In fact, I know I can. It will take awhile.

Anywho, it's late at night and I am going to get off here. :)

A new beginning
It's never fun to have a friend who is training to be a nutritionist yell at you for the diet you choose. Yes, I was berated. And not in a good way. He said I was an idiot and it wasnt the diet I should be on.

Okay, Mr. Nutritionist... tell me what diet I AM supposed to be on and since you are telling me this for free, give it to me straight.

Low fat, no sugar diet. Sensible portions, lots of exercise and plenty of water.

Got it. So... Mr. Nutritionist. Can I wait til Monday when my hormones arent on a murderous rampage and beating my uterus to the point of bleeding?

Um... yea.

Good. And on a side note... menstruating sucks balls. If I am not using it, cant it just go on vacation?

Day 8
My mood hasnt helped my diet lately. I feel like drowning myself in a container of Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey. Trust me, that is never good.

After last night's fall off the wagon, I have been keeping to my diet like crazy. Although I have been craving chocolate.

Weekend
Yesterday went pretty well. Did the diet thing. Found out the frozen egg patties arent that bad if you nuke them with the bacon and add some salt and pepper. Mom got me some precooked chicken patties. I can take them to work and add them to my salad. Been eating hamburger patties at night with green beans or broccoli. Mom got me some brussel sprouts. So that is a welcomed change. Anything green... yum.

I do have to admit. I cheated today. I had some ice cream with the niece. And just not any ice cream. A peanut butter fudge sundae. Yea... I know. I ate it and felt so sick after. It took me everything I had not to toss it up.

Anywho, Major dieting this week. Absolutely no cheating. And because of the cheat, one extra day of dieting. Since this weekend was a free weekend, I figured I would just make Sunday my free day. I cant wait to have my chocolate milk... *sigh*

Day 5
Today, before I took my shower in the morning I weighed myself. The scale and I have a love hate relationship. I dont like it and it doesnt like me. Anywho, I was absolutely and positively surprised and happy that I lost 5 lbs. I felt so good that this diet was working and now I am determined to keep at it.

I couldnt stop my craving for soda, though. So I have been drinking caffeine free diet pepsi since I cant find CF diet Dr. Pepper. And while I was at the local little store here downtown Tulsa, I saw Diet Rite. Tangerine... ZERO EVERYTHING. Zero carbs, calories, sodium and caffeine. I bought 3. YUM! My craving for sweets went away! I may have to buy more... with more flavors. I know diet rite is good for white grape, and root beer and cola among other flavors. Still wouldnt mind getting my fix of dr. pepper via caffeine free and diet. But oh well. My pepsi friend said it IS in Tulsa. Probably at Albertsons or Reasors or something. I havent checked Wal-mart.

So let's review...

5 days, 5 lbs.

So... if I lose 5 lbs every 5 days, I would lose 20lbs in a month. Supposedly. So... let's just see about that. :)

Im a fat chick just trying to get thinner. Not supermodel anorexic thinner. But healthy thinner. Just trying to make the most out of a fat situation.
